Research

The Nigerian Heart Foundation aims to advance the understanding of causes of cardiovascular diseases and stroke; and to provide the basis for support of treatment, prevention and rehabilitation in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Heart Foundation supports research on risk factors for cardiovascular diseases – Tobacco, Nutrition, Physical Activity, Hypertension, Obesity and Alcohol in collaboration with partners from Universities, Federal and States Ministries of Health, Education and Environment, Research Institutes, International organizations, Civil Society Organizations and the Private sector.
