Mrs Maria Taiwo Lambo

Mrs Maria Taiwo Lambo is the Managing Partner of T. M Tokunboh & Associates. Mrs Lambo attended Holy Child College Ikoyi, Lagos and St Teresa College Ibadan for her Higher school education. She completed her Degree in Law, L. L. B. at University of Lagos, Akoka and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. She has since attended numerous Law training programs and conferences both in Nigeria and outside the country. Mrs Lambo also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Philosophy from the University of Lagos. Mrs Lambo started off her career at Tate and Lyle Nig. Ltd, she has also worked at Mahogany Building Society Limited, Citi Trust Merchant Bank Limited and Swift Travels Limited in various Managerial positions. She is a member of the International Association of Prosecutors and also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch. Mrs Lambo served Lagos State Government as a State Counsel, Senior State Counsel and Principal State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice till 2016. She has also worked in various Law firms and she is presently in private practice. Mrs Lambo successfully completed the DRPi ( Dispute Resolution Project International Ltd) Executive Mediation Training in 2008. Mrs Lambo was a Prosecutor for ten years still she is an ardent believer in dispute resolution processes as alternatives to having a court decide the dispute. Conferred with Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2020. Mrs Lambo is the Legal Adviser to Nigerian Heart Foundation and also the Executive(Legal) of Exercise is Medicine.
